# Dashboard

> Track revenue, orders, conversations and response times across your channels for any date range.

Source: https://docs.message24.net/owners/daily/dashboard/

The Dashboard gives you a picture of how your business is doing on messaging: sales, conversation volume, how fast customers get answered, and how each channel and team member is performing. Open it from **Dashboard** in the top navigation.

:::note
The Dashboard is only available to business admins. It appears once you have connected at least one channel; until then, the page shows the setup checklist instead.
:::

## Setup checklist

While your business is still being set up, the top of the Dashboard shows **Get your AI answering customers** with the remaining steps: **Create your business**, **Connect a channel**, **Add your products**, **Teach your AI**, **Add balance** and **Turn on your AI**. You can do them in any order, and hide the checklist with **Hide setup checklist**.

After setup is complete, a banner appears only when something stops the AI from replying, for example **Your AI has stopped replying** when your balance reaches $0.

## Choose a period and channels

Use the period buttons at the top right: **Today**, **7d**, **This month**, **30d** or **90d**. You can also pick exact start and end dates. The Dashboard opens on **This month**.

If you have more than one channel, the channel chips under the title filter every number on the page. Select **All** to include every channel, or select one or more channels.

Most cards show a percentage change against the previous period. Hover over it to see exactly which dates it compares against.

## Sales and conversation cards

| Card | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Total Revenue** | The value of orders that reached Confirmed or Delivered, by the date the order was created |
| **Confirmed Orders** | Orders created in the period that reached Confirmed |
| **Delivered Orders** | Orders created in the period that reached Delivered |
| **Avg Order Value** | Total revenue divided by the number of Confirmed and Delivered orders |
| **Active Conversations** | People who sent you at least one message in the period, counted per channel |
| **New Contacts** | People whose first message to you falls in the period |
| **Returning Contacts** | People who messaged you in the period but first contacted you earlier |
| **Messages** | All messages sent and received |

Select **New Contacts** or **Returning Contacts** to see the list of conversations behind the number.

Below the cards you'll find **Order Pipeline** (orders by current stage) and three charts: **Orders Over Time**, **Messages Over Time** (split into customer, AI and human messages) and **Conversations Over Time** (split by channel). Switch each chart between **Daily**, **Weekly** and **Monthly**.

## Sessions and response times

A session starts with the first customer message after a quiet gap and ends when the conversation is closed. These cards measure how well conversations are being handled:

| Card | What it counts |
| --- | --- |
| **Sessions Opened** | Sessions that started in the period |
| **Sessions Closed** | Sessions closed in the period |
| **Still Open** | Sessions opened in the period that are not closed yet |
| **Abandoned** | Sessions opened in the period with no reply within 3 days |
| **Off-Hours Sessions** | Sessions that started outside the channel's working hours |

Select any of these cards to open the matching conversations. From that list you can open a conversation or download it as a CSV.

**Response Times** shows two distributions: **First Response** (how long customers waited for the first reply) and **Resolution Time** (how long closed sessions lasted). Switch between **Clock time** and **Working hours**. Working-hours figures only count time inside each channel's schedule, so channels without a schedule are left out and noted under the chart. Select **View slowest** to see the conversations that took longest.

:::tip
**Off-Hours Sessions** and **Working hours** use the schedule assigned to each channel. If you see **No working-hours schedule assigned**, set one up in [AI settings](/owners/ai/ai-settings/).

## Team, channels and products

- **Session Breakdown** shows closed sessions split by who closed them: your team, the AI or the system.
- **Agent Performance** lists each team member with the conversations they replied to, messages they sent, sessions they closed, and their median and 90th-percentile first response and resolution times. AI-closed sessions appear on their own row. For a fuller per-person view, including calls, see [Human agents](/owners/account/human-agents/).
- **Channel Performance** lists conversations, messages and orders per channel. Select a column header to sort.
- **Best Sellers** ranks your top products by units sold (**By Volume**) and by revenue (**By Revenue**).
